How we do our sizing- Since vintage sizing is different from contemporary sizing we list the actual measurements of our garments. We also provide a size (such as Small, Medium or Large) that would be equivalent to today's sizes based on the measurements. Often this will cause the size in the label to be different from the size we list. This will also take into account any shrinkage the garment has incurred. Unfortuantely sizing (especially of women's clothing) is not standardized in the clothing industry. Therefore it is very important to check the measurements. The best way to determine if an item will fit is if you compare the measurements to a similar item you own that fits you well. Please note - the measurements are of the actual garment, not the size you need to be in order to fit into it.
